These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the agreement between you and Crowdseek Ltd ("Crowdseek", "we", "us", "our") when you access or use our website (crowdseek.com), pilot landing pages (try.crowdseek.com, sleep.crowdseek.com, pilot.crowdseek.com), web app (app.crowdseek.com), and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read these Terms and that you agree to them.
1. This is an email-based programme. Crowdseek's pilot is delivered largely by email. By creating an account you are signing up to receive a structured series of emails as a core part of the Service: daily to begin with, becoming less frequent as you settle into the system, plus an occasional "ease back in" sequence if you stop using Crowdseek for a while and we help you restart. These emails are how the pilot works — they are not optional marketing extras. You can stop them at any time using the unsubscribe button included in every programme email, and you can leave the pilot entirely by closing your account (Section 11).
2. The pilot is for UK residents only. We only contract with people who are resident in the United Kingdom, and these Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales (Section 15). When you sign up you must confirm that you are resident in the UK. If you are not a UK resident, you cannot accept these Terms and must not create an account.
Crowdseek Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales (company number 09560574), with registered office at 23 Westfield Park, Redland, Bristol, BS6 6LT, United Kingdom.
Crowdseek is a wellbeing app that helps you choose a meaningful outcome, build a personalised daily plan around it, and shape that plan over time with the support of a small circle of people you invite (your "Crowd"). Crowdseek is not a medical product. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any illness, and the content it surfaces is general wellbeing guidance only. If you have any specific health concern, please speak with a qualified professional.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
Crowdseek is currently in pilot. Access is limited to people who, when they create an account, actively declare that they meet all of the following:
If any of these is not true — in particular, if you are not resident in the UK, you are not eligible to accept these Terms, no contract is formed between us, and you must not create an account. If we discover that an account has been created in breach of this section, we may suspend or close it.
You will need to create an account to use most of the Service. When you do:
You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
The Service is currently in pilot. That means:
Nothing in this section reduces any non-excludable consumer rights you have under UK law.
When you use the Service you agree not to:
Your plan content — the goals you choose, the outcomes you select, the reasons that matter to you, the actions you keep or swap, your reflections, and any free-text inputs — is yours. We hold it on your behalf to operate the Service for you.
You give us a limited licence to host, store, process and display your plan content so we can run the Service for you. This licence is non-exclusive, free of charge, and it ends when you close your account.
Some of your plan content is special-category wellbeing data under UK GDPR Article 9. We handle that data only with your explicit consent, only inside our own systems, and never share it with our email service provider or other third parties in an identifiable form. See Section 2B of our Privacy Policy.
You can invite a small circle of supporters to your "Crowd". When you do:
The Crowdseek pilot is delivered substantially through email. By creating an account you agree to receive the email programme described below as part of the Service:
To stop receiving the programme emails, you can close your account at any time (Section 11). Full details of how the email programme works (cadence, the reduced-frequency schedule, the restart / ease-back-in sequence, suppression and reply handling) are in Section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
Crowdseek owns (or licenses from others) the Service itself — the software, the design, the brand name "Crowdseek", the logo, and the content we author including the daily tips and situation guides. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicence or build a competing product from any part of the Service without our written permission.
We try to keep the Service available and working well, but we do not promise that it will be available without interruption. We may suspend access for maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons. We may change features, add or remove content, or update how the Service looks and works. We will not make changes that materially reduce your rights without telling you in good time.
You can stop using the Service at any time. To close your account, email privacy@crowdseek.com or use the account-closure option in the Service. When you close your account, your wellbeing data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these Terms.
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill, as required by UK consumer law. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or fraud.
Subject to that: the Service is general wellbeing guidance, not personal medical or clinical advice. We are not responsible for outcomes that depend on your own choices and circumstances, or for loss or damage that we could not reasonably have foreseen.
We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, for example internet outages, third-party service failures, severe weather, industrial action, or government action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will tell you in advance. The current version is always available from the footer of this page. By continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer based in the UK, you have the benefit of any mandatory provisions of the law where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
